Media year12/13 26th June 14.

This session was a Photoshop session. Students examined the images captured in the last session and began to produce their ADVERTISEMENTS. The main learning focus was to place text in boxes and increase canvas size to move beyond creating simplistic examples of text and image.
Below are examples of work in progress from today's session:

HOMEWORK: We will be continuing with this work on Monday so bring some ideas. Also, students need to bring a memory stick as I will be expecting you to complete some PHOTOSHOP homework next week.

YEAR 12 into 13..19th June /June 23rd June 2014.

Now then media freaks. The focus of this little period of work before the summer holiday is purely creative. Our first creative focus is print media and the creative use of photography. The aim of the last two sessions has been to encourage students to view photography as a creative form rather than merely a form used to document moments. Below are some of the images that we will be using to construct some advertising resources in our next lesson. Students need to produce images suitable for:
  • The Beverley Shovel company
  • The Beverley Cloning centre
Here are a selection of images captured in the last two sessions.
