Mark Thompson ,the BBC's director general, used this year's MacTaggart lecture to criticise Rupert Murdoch's media empire. In 1994 the author Dennis Potter was filmed by Melvyn Bragg. Potter was aware that he would soon die, that his cancer was eating him, and that this would be his final interview. Potter named his pancreatic tumour, Rupert. He was not a big fan of Murdoch.Here Potter explains why he despises Murdoch. Potter died one month after this interview. Click on link:
