YEAR 12 LESSON TWENTY-THREE [20th March 12]: Homework.

Students were asked to consider whether the texts used for the cross-media study are merely marketing tools. This was a response to the last cross-media essay as student question focus was poor and the aim of this task was to make sure that students are aware that this task requires a very specific question focus. The session moved on to consider the skills required for Mest1 Section A. Click on link below to access text:

The final 30 minutes of the session asked students to produce a written response to three questions:
1. How are media forms used to attract the attention of the viewer?
2.How is the viewer represented within this text?
3.'These texts are merely marketing tools'. To what extent is this true of your cross-media study?

HOMEWORK: STUDENTS NEED TO BE COMPLETING THEIR COURSEWORK. DEADLINE IS NEXT WEEK.
