YEAR 13 LESSON FORTY-NINE [9th May 14]: Homework













Students were asked to consider Section A of the exam. The texts below were used to generate class discussion:

1. How is the institution of ITV represented in these texts?
2. How has digital media changed how the audience can consume the content of broadcasting institutions such as ITV?
3. Why do people bother to consume media texts? [media theory question].

HOMEWORK: Complete the section A response. Some students owe me an Impact of Digital Media essay. I need these essays ASAP. We still have a lot of work ahead of us and it is important that students continue to complete homework. The only way to prepare for a written exam is to produce some essays so stop being intellectual cowards and get working. I am only speaking to two or three students here....YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE...GET WRITING.
Students need to consider the topic that will be the focus of your IODM Case Study. I will be finalising questions on Tuesday.
