Students discussed the codes and conventions of documentary and whether Man On Wire or Exit Through The Gift Ship conform to these codes and conventions. The lesson moved into a discussion of representation with specific focus placed upon the Twin Towers, Philippe Petit, and the high wire act across the Towers in Man On Wire and the representation of Banksy and Street Art in Exit Through The Gift Shop.
Homework: Students need to read the e-media linked to the Cross-Media Study texts. In next week's session we will be discussing how the e-media benefits Audience and Producer. Students should be creating their coursework.
