YEAR THIRTEEN LESSON SEVENTEEN [9th FEB 11]: Homework.

Students examined the first section of last summer's MEST 3 examination paper. Students were encouraged to produce a series of notes via class discussion that would allow them to produce a convincing, appropriate, and detailed media response.

Homework: I will be posting notes here to guide students through the essay that relates to media regulation. I will expect this essay to be nestled safely within my grasp before I deliver the next media sermon. Students are also expected to prepare answers for MEST 3 Section 1 questions 2 and 3 as students will be expected to produce a timed response in the next session. YOU MUST ATTEMPT SOME FORM OF RESEARCH TO ANSWER THESE TWO QUESTIONS. The second question demands an understanding and application of the Uses and Gratifications Theory and the third question will demand coherent opinion supported with textual reference.

Students should also be producing their coursework. SL and ZQ need to meet with me on Friday to discuss coursework. Bring some critical autonomy.
